fmProducts_Zen, fmFastProductsSearch, fmMultistoreProductsSearch - Products Search Form

Your staff has better things to do than to sit around and spend lots of time searching for products at one or multiple stores to handle them. That is why we have supplied Store Manager with quick, easy and flexible search forms. If you type a few letters of Product's name or model in "Text to Search" field, the Manager will show you a list of products that match your request. You may wish to specify a smaller number of rows to display results, which speeds up the search. Unless the product you're looking for is listed in the search results, please specify greater number of rows and Click Force Refresh button. If you double click on any product in the search results, Store Manager will take you to it's category page and highlight searched product in product list.

To perform products "Search" or "Multi store search" you can use products toolbar or use context menu.

Product Search

You can perform Product Search by product name or product model.

Conditions

• Text to Search field - type a few letters of product's name or model and press "Find" button to see a list of products that match your request.
• To open product for editing double clicking on it enable the corresponding check-box.
• Relevancy value - results match is measured by its match relevancy value. The best match, is defined as 100 and the worst match is defined as 1.

Search Options

• Immediate search - when enabled, helps you to see a list of products that match your request while you're typing letters without pressing "Find" button.
  Note: Do not use this option if you have slow direct database connection.
• Enabled First search option remembers the last product that you used to search and starts searching process when you'll open "Search product" window next time. Note. Do not use this option if you have slow direct database connection.
• You may wish to specify a smaller number of rows to display results, which speeds up the search. Unless the product you're looking for is listed in the search results, please specify greater number of rows and click find button.
• Also search in product descriptions - as is.
• Exact match - enable this option if you wish to see the list of products with exactly the same name/model.

Results.

Store Manager shows you a list of products that match your request at the "Results" pane. You can perform the following actions using search results:

• Find the product - If you double-click on any product in the search results, Store Manager will take you to its category page and highlight searched product in product list. 
• Open Edit Product form - If you enable "Open for editing" option, Edit Product window will appear along with the regular results.
• Also you can Delete highlighted product (s) from your store (Note that you wont' be able to undo delete from store action unless you've made Database backup) or set in stock/out of stock status for selected product (s) using corresponding options.

Multi Search

You can perform Multi Store Products Search by product name or product model if you have multiple stores. 

Conditions

• Text to Search field - type a few letters of product's name or model and press "Find" button to see a list of products that match your request.
• You can also create local cache or clear cache to increase performance.
• Consider Name and Consider ID options helps you to find product that matches your request.

Results

Store Manager shows you a list of products that match your request at the "Results" pane. You can perform the following actions using search results:

• Find the product - If you double-click on any product in the search results, Store Manager will take you to its category page and highlight searched product in product list.  
• Open Edit Product form - If you enable "Open for editing" option, Edit Product window will appear along with the regular results.
